A summer training camp for children interested in triathlon starts on Monday at Linden Road Instruction Pool in Bournville. The course is aimed at 8-16 year olds and includes a mini-triathlon race at the end of the course.

The course lasts for five days, 10am – 3pm and takes place from 26th July – 30th July and is then repeated in the following two weeks. There’s a maximum of 30 children per course and places are filled on a first come first served basis. You’ll need to go along to the pool, which is located off Linden road, Bournville in the entrance to Cadbury World, to join.

Children should supply their own bikes and helmets and the cost is £38 for the week (£28 for Passport to Leisure holders). For further information call the pool on 0121 464 4500.

The race at the end of each week will be on the Friday at 1pm. Parents are invited to attend and act as stewards.
