Conservatives hold Bournville

Tim Huxtable has successfully defended his council seat at Thursday’s local election, writes Victoria Elmore from Newswaves. Huxtable won the seat with a majority of just 276, after a very strong showing from Labour candidate, Philip Walking.

May 2011 election – candidates

HERE are the declared candidates for the local elections on May 5th. Tim Huxtable (Conservatives) will defend his seat. On the same day there will be a referendum about changing the voting system for electing MPs to the Houses of Parliament.
