Sgt Isobel Knowles from Bournville Ward Neighbourhood Team has let us know that the next Bournville Ward Neighbourhood Tasking meeting will take place on Thursday 25th October 7pm at Stirchley Community Church, Hazelwell Street, Stirchley.
Sgt Knowles says: “I will be there with Councillors to provide an update on our current priorities which are Street Drinkers in Cotteridge centre and Anti-Social Behaviour on Ingoldsby Road.
“If anyone would like a ‘no trick or treat’ card for your window…I will be bringing some to the meeting. I also have some information on the Police and Crime Commissioner Role…elections are on 15th November.
Sgt Knowles will also have details about the new ‘Diamond Awards‘ – awards to allow the general public, officers, staff, and partners to recognise and reward members of the police family who have acted ‘above and beyond’ what is expected of them.
Nominations need to be in by 16th November and Sgt Knowles will be talking about a couple of ideas for the ‘community thank you’ award.
