Bournville-born actress Felicity Jones has been nominated for an Oscar for her role in the film ‘The Theory of Everything’.
She spoke to the BBC about her role in the film and about the news that she will be contesting an Oscar with Marion Cotillard, Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore and Rosamund Pike.
28 year old Felicity was brought up in Bournville and started her career in Birmingham, working with Central TV’s Children’s Television Workshop and performing as Emma Grundy in the Archers, recorded in Birmingham.
Jones went to King Norton’s Girl School and took her A-Levels at King Edward’s Handsworth before studying English at Oxford.
