Rail fares from Bournville have gone up at the start of the New Year following the annual national rail fare increase.

From Friday 2nd January 2015 the peak-time fare from Bournville to Birmingham City Centre will be £4.10, an increase of 10 pence. The off-peak fare remains the same at £2.60. The single fare has increased from £2.40 to £2.50.
A weekly train pass for Bournville (covering zones 1-3) is now £18.10 and a monthly pass (via direct debit) is £54.50.
Train operator London Midland performs slightly below the nation average of trains arriving on time with a figure of 87.2% of trains arriving on time (the moving national average as of December 2014 is 89.3%. Source: http://www.networkrail.co.uk/about/performance/).
Bus fares have also increased by 10 pence with a standard adult fare now £2.20. An adult daysaver ticket is now £4.20.
