A reminder that Christmas Eve sees the annual gathering on the Green for Christmas Carols from 6pm. Local resident Rob Macpherson described it thus in The Guardian: “Christmas carols on Bournville Green, accompanied by Carillon school, are atmospheric and great for kids – a bit like living in a Richard Curtis rom-com.”
Bournville Village Council say: “The gathering has taken place since 1949 and this year starts at 6pm with Christmas carols and readings with the sound of Bournville Carillon for accompaniment. Tradition has it that you bring along a lantern. The event is organised by Churches Together B30 representing a range of churches around our area.”
